Used in the syn­the­sis of PETG, as a coat­ing, ink, adhe­sives, insu­lat­ing mate­ri­als and some spe­cial uses of sat­u­rat­ed poly­ester and unsat­u­rat­ed poly­ester syn­the­sis of inter­me­di­ates. Has a good hard­ness and a cer­tain degree of flex­i­bil­i­ty, the result­ing light-col­ored resin has excel­lent ther­mal sta­bil­i­ty and good sol­u­bil­i­ty and weath­er resis­tance, but also com­mon­ly used in the man­u­fac­ture of poly­ester fiber, poly­ester appli­ances, unsat­u­rat­ed poly Ester resins, poly­ester glazes, polyurethane foams, and for the pro­duc­tion of lubri­cants and hydraulic flu­ids.
