It is sen­si­tive to light and must be kept away from light strict­ly. Any even short expo­sure to light may cause dam­age to its qual­i­ty. Please be sure that it would not be opened unless in lab with ful­ly avoid­ing light con­di­tions.

Appli­ca­tion

Brief Intro­duc­tion 1. Per­mits uti­liza­tion of long-wave­length light ener­gy beyond the effec­tive absorp­tion range of the ini­tia­tor. 2. Sen­si­tiz­ing effect inde­pen­dent of the ini­tia­tor. 3. Reduces the amount of the ini­tia­tor. 4. Per­mits thick-film poly­mer­iza­tion. 5. Can com­ply with reg­u­la­tions of many of coun­tries 9,10-dibutoxyanthracene is a pho­to­sen­si­tiz­er for UV cation­ic poly­mer­iza­tion. It has a unique absorp­tion zone of long UV wave­lengths over 400 nm. It pro­vides effec­tive ener­gy trans­fer to the pho­topoly­mer­iza­tion ini­tia­tor, lead­ing to accel­er­at­ed poly­mer­iza­tion and improved sur­face prop­er­ties and adhe­sive­ness of the cured prod­uct. Mak­ing long-wave­length UV radi­a­tion avail­able for pho­topoly­mer­iza­tion, the pho­to­sen­si­tiz­er now per­mits thick-film cation­ic poly­mer­iza­tion which in con­ven­tion­al sys­tems would end up in insuf­fi­cient cur­ing.
