SapI is a type IIS restric­tion enzyme that rec­og­nizes asym­met­ric DNA sequences and cleaves out­side their recog­ni­tion sequence. Recom­bi­nant Albu­min was added to the 10X Cut Reac­tion Buffer for sta­bil­i­ty and con­sis­ten­cy. Isoschizomers of SapI include BspQI, PciSI and LguI.
