Features
It is an important intermediate in organic fluorine synthesis and advanced chemical synthesis, as well as in the production of fluorinated surface-active agents. It serves as an aliphatic compound used for the synthesis of fluorinated surfactants. Additionally, it can be employed in chrome plating processes as a mist suppressant for chromium, preventing the formation of hazardous chromic acid fumes. The recommended dosage of the mist suppressant is 0.2 to 0.4 milliliters of perfluorooctanesulfonic acid per liter of electroplating bath solution
