Known Application

Methyl cyclopentyl acrylate can be used in polymerization reactions to prepare high molecular weight polymers, such as polymethyl acrylate. In the manufacturing process of adhesives and sealants, methyl cyclopentyl acrylate is often used as one of the important raw materials. It can also be used to prepare various types of surface coatings, such as coatings used to protect and improve the surface properties of materials. In some medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing fields, it may be used as a synthetic intermediate for the preparation of certain drugs or biomaterials.
