Gen­er­al Description

RNase H (Ribonu­cle­ase H) is an endori­bonu­cle­ase that can specif­i­cal­ly hydrolyze the phos­pho­di­ester bonds of RNA and degrades the RNA strand in the RNA-DNA hybrid. RNase H can­not hydrolyze phos­pho­di­ester bonds in sin­­gle- or dou­ble-strand­ed DNA.
