Known Appli­ca­tion

Gum tra­ga­canth is wide­ly used in skin­care, hair­care, and dai­ly chem­i­cal prod­ucts due to its thick­en­ing, emul­si­fy­ing, and mois­tur­iz­ing properties.

In skin­care prod­ucts, it enhances tex­ture, mak­ing for­mu­la­tions more sta­ble, smooth, and eas­i­ly absorbed. It forms a pro­tec­tive film that locks in mois­ture, pro­motes nutri­ent absorp­tion, and improves hydration.

In hair­care prod­ucts, it increas­es vis­cos­i­ty, enhances repair and mois­tur­iz­ing effects, and reduces hair break­age and split ends. The pro­tec­tive film it forms makes hair soft­er, shinier, and eas­i­er to man­age after washing.

For oth­er dai­ly chem­i­cal prod­ucts, it boosts con­sis­ten­cy and foam sta­bil­i­ty in show­er gels, cre­at­ing rich, del­i­cate foam while mois­tur­iz­ing the skin. In lip balms, it pre­vents mois­ture loss, relieves dry­ness, and keeps lips soft and hydrated.
