Steroid HormonesOn a broader level, hormones are molecules that are generated and emitted by endocrine glands present in our bodies. When the hormones are emitted into the bloodstream, they pass through various body parts generating responses from particular cells. In particular, the steroid hormones are drawn molecules that are fat soluble. Two of the common steroid hormones are the sex hormones that are exuded by male and female sexual organs and adrenal glands that secrete hormones such as aldosterone, androgens etc.

How Steroid Hormones Function ?

Steroid hormones are the reason behind the revolution taking place in a cell. They do so by passing the cell membrane of the objective cell. Steroid hormones are able to do so because of their fat-solubility. This is something that non-steroid hormones lack. Typically, cell membranes comprise of dual layers of phospholipid which avert the molecules that cannot dissolve fats from diluting within the cell. When the steroid hormones enter the cell, they bind themselves with a particular receptor which only occurs on the cell’s cytoplasm. This receptor then travels into the nucleus and attaches itself to a new precise receptor that occurs in the chromatin. Upon being linked with chromatin, the steroid hormone and receptor amalgamation orders for the construction of explicit RNA molecules known as the messenger RNA (or mRNA). This process is known as transcription. These mRNA molecules are customized and carried all the way to the cytoplasm. Now, the mRNA molecules regulate the creation of proteins via a procedure known as translation. Generally, these proteins are utilized to create and build up muscles.

The Pregnenolone Steroid Hormone

Pregnenolone is found in the human bodies naturally. However, it’s also accessible in the form of a nutritional supplement. Pregnenolone is one of the many kinds of steroid that is utilized for further generating other steroid hormones like Estrogen and DHEA. Supporters often assert that the consumption of pregnenolene can cure or alleviate a range of health-related concerns. Some of them include :
  • Alzheimer’s Disease,
  • Depression,
  • Symptoms of Menopause,
  • Psoriasis,
  • Fatigue,
  • Arthritis,
  • Premenstrual disorder, etc.
The first round of research revealed that pregnenolone may assist and defend against age-related memory problems. This is according to a report that was published in Brain Research Reviews in 2001, where researchers investigated the accessible studies based on the steroid hormones and how they impact the intellect and remembrance of an elderly brain. Moreover, pregnenolone reflects promising results when used for curing schizophrenia, says a report that was published in Neuroscience 5 years ago (2011). At Watson International Ltd, we have a range of steroid hormones, including pregnenolone steroid hormones, Furazabol THP, 1-DHEA Enanthate etc. Buy from us to test and experiment further uses and benefits of steroid hormones.
