Known Appli­ca­tion

Poly(methylene-co-guanidine), hydrochlo­ride be used as adhe­sives. It is employed in the bond­ing of mate­ri­als such as wood, fibers, and paper, and finds exten­sive appli­ca­tion in fur­ni­ture man­u­fac­tur­ing, con­struc­tion, and pack­ag­ing indus­tries. And can pen­e­trate into the wood fibers and form a pro­tec­tive film, enhanc­ing the dura­bil­i­ty and resis­tance to decay of wood. This makes it wide­ly used in wood preser­va­tion treatments.
