Recom­bi­nant Strep­to­coc­cus pyo­genes Cas9 nucle­ase, puri­fied from E.coli, is a pow­er­ful tool for genome edit­ing. The nucle­ase can also be applied to the field of mol­e­c­u­lar diag­no­sis.
