It should be stored in the fridge since the melt­ing point 20℃, it will be light yel­low oil under melt­ing point and will be sol­id under zero degree or below. This is only a phys­i­cal change and will not have any influ­ences on the chem­i­cal prop­er­ties of it(you can test them by NMR). So, sol­id, pow­der or oil are both prop­er forms for it. And if you parafilmed the con­tain­er and placed it in a des­ic­ca­tor in a freez­er around -20℃( below zero), the com­pound will be in sol­id form after a few days for sure. If you like pow­der form, you can dis­solve the com­pound in eth­yl ether, and then remove the sol­vent under vac­u­um. Be care­ful, you should use a rel­a­tive­ly large bot­tle since the com­pound will be like foam and expand sev­er­al times. Of course, vac­u­um freeze dri­er is also a good choice if above pro­ce­dure is incon­ve­nience.
