Known Appli­ca­tion

SPP is a sul­fon­ic acid-type monomer of polypro­pi­onic acid. The addi­tion of SPP imparts unique phys­i­cal and chem­i­cal prop­er­ties to the polypro­pi­onic acid ester prod­ucts, char­ac­ter­ized by sul­fon­ic acid salt func­tion­al­i­ties. It is pri­mar­i­ly used in the pro­duc­tion of sta­ble acrylic dis­per­sion gels, adhe­sives, and coatings.
