Intro­duc­tion

Acrylic acid graft­ed starch is an excip­i­ent, which is an addi­tive oth­er than the main drug in a phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal prepa­ra­tion and can also be called an excip­i­ent. The gen­er­al require­ments for excip­i­ents are sta­ble prop­er­ties, no incom­pat­i­bil­i­ty with the main drug, no side effects, no effect on effi­ca­cy, not easy to deform, crack, mildew, or be eat­en by insects at room tem­per­a­ture, harm­less to the human body, no phys­i­o­log­i­cal effect, no chem­i­cal or phys­i­cal reac­tion with the main drug, and no effect on the con­tent deter­mi­na­tion of the main drug.
Acrylic Graft­ed Starch 300 is a func­tion­al mate­r­i­al made by graft­ing acrylic monomers onto nat­ur­al starch through copoly­mer­iza­tion, com­bin­ing the bio­com­pat­i­bil­i­ty of starch with the physic­o­chem­i­cal prop­er­ties of acrylics.
