Use

It is main­ly used in alu­minum pro­duc­tion to reduce the melt­ing point and increase the con­duc­tiv­i­ty of the elec­trolyte. It is also used as a flux­ing agent and glaze com­po­nent for ceram­ic glazes and enam­el glazes, and as a flux for smelt­ing non-fer­­rous met­als.
