Known Appli­ca­tion

AMP­PD is a chemi­lu­mi­nes­cent sub­strate for alka­line phos­phatase. In a suit­able buffer, with the cat­alyt­ic hydrol­y­sis of the enzyme, AMP­PD is decom­posed into AMP-D, which emits a high-inten­si­­ty light sig­nal. The speed of light emis­sion depends on Alka­line phos­phatase con­cen­tra­tion. When the alka­line phos­phatase is cou­pled to the hybridized probe, the pres­ence of the hybrid mol­e­cule can be detect­ed by this system.
