Features

AMPS is an alkene monomer with a sulfonic acid group. The structural formula contains a strong anionic, water-soluble sulfur group, a shielded amide group and an unsaturated double bond, which makes it have excellent comprehensive properties. AMPS has good binding, adsorption, biological activity, surface activity, hydrolytic stability and thermal stability. Under acidic conditions, the hydrolysis resistance of AMPS homopolymer is much higher than that of polyacrylamide.

Known Application

AMPS can be used for both copolymerization and homopolymerization, and is widely used in water treatment agents, oil field additives, ink coatings, cosmetics, biomedicine, papermaking and other industries.
