Descrip­tion

MIMO is the abbre­vi­a­tion of Mal­­to­­syl-Iso­­ma­l­­to-Oligosac­cha­ride, a kind of IMO sourced from sucrose. It has 3-10 degrees of poly­mer­iza­tion (DP) com­prised of α-1,6 link­age ter­mi­nat­ed via an α-1,4 link­age to the reduc­ing end. MIMO is not degrad­ed in gas­troin­testi­nal tract, but fer­ment­ed by pro­bi­otics with mul­ti­ply­ing Bifi­dobac­teri­um and Lac­to­bacil­lus typ­i­cal­ly and inhibit­ing Escherichia coli, Clostrid­i­um etc., so it is qual­i­ty pre­bi­otics to human health. MIMO is also a sol­u­ble dietary fiber with low-sweet and low-calo­rie, there­fore it can be oral­ly admin­is­tered and in the appli­ca­tions of pro­tein bar, beer, soft drink, sports drink, dairy, meat prod­ucts, condi­ments, bak­ery, microen­cap­su­lat­ed pro­bi­otics and oth­er snacks & beverages.
