Application

Ruthenium/carbon has a strong tendency to form coordination compounds and has good catalytic properties. Niobium is an effective hardener for platinum and palladium ; the addition of 0.1% niobium to titanium can greatly improve corrosion resistance ; niobium-molybdenum alloy is a superconductor ; antimony-containing catalyst is mostly used in petrochemical industry.
