Known Appli­ca­tion

Mex­o­ryl SX is a rel­a­tive­ly new ultra­vi­o­let UVA sun­screen, a water-sol­u­ble chem­i­cal sun­screen, and one of the most effec­tive UVA sun­screens today. It has a low skin absorp­tion rate and has been approved by the US FDA. How­ev­er, Mex­o­ryl SX does not absorb ultra­vi­o­let rays in all UVA bands, and it can decom­pose 40% when exposed to the sun for two hours, so it is often used with oth­er sunscreens.
